At this same show, with the help of an industry leading crew, I turned an empty airplane hangar into a fully immersive theater (the 7th largest in California) with stadium seating and 270-degree projection mapping with fully custom content.

Most Innovative

BETHESDA E3 SHOWCASE & BE3+, 2016

Overseeing a crew of more than 300 for a 4-hour event, we managed to build the 7th largest theater in the state of California in an empty airplane hangar in 10 days (and we tore it down  in 3).

With 270-degree projection mapping, custom curated content and a fully custom acoustic paneling façade, this event is my #1 for innovative design and engineering. I’ve never been more proud of an event’s full life-cycle from the design phase, to the onsite build, to the show itself all the way through tear down.

This was also the first event at Bethesda that I did not utilize a core production company.

Fun Fact: Blink 182 performed at the after party. I’ve seen a lot of live shows and I must admit they’re in the top 3 for best live performance (which I did not see coming).

Most Demanding

QUAKECON

QuakeCon is a grassroots, volunteer-run, annual convention held in Dallas, TX. I had 18 Directors reporting directly to me with a senior staff of over 200 reporting into them. Every year, I had the honor of working with this core group for 11 months out of the year to produce this 84 hour, 3,400 seat BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer), LAN gaming marathon with an exhibit hall, panels, presentations, live streams, tournaments and nightly

live entertainment.

Though QuakeCon didn’t have the reach or budget of my other Bethesda events, it’s my #1 for hours and effort required as well as my #1 for most rewarding event I have produced.

Best Design, Best Talent

FALLOUT 4 LAUNCH EVENT

In an empty warehouse somewhere between the ‘up and coming’ LA Arts District & Skid   Row, a small army and I worked with Best Events to dream up the most on-brand event I have ever produced (or witnessed).

From free t-shirts that were packaged in retro cereal boxes, to the Vault-Tec logo donut wall, to the rusty shipping containers stacked 3 high and decked out for VIP seating, the Fallout 4 Launch Event is easily my #1 for Best Branding and Best Overall Design.

Walk The Moon kicked off the night, followed by Bloc Party, and then Calvin Harris closed it out. It’s hard to beat a lineup like that, so this one was an easy winner for Best Talent.
